the stock motor lasted for over 160 passes most in the 10's. we made sure to save the timeslips to keep count Smiley . we ran a few track days after the 10.52's, but we honestly just wanted the stock one to blow up so we could hurry and put the new motor in so we went for 9's on the stock motor and figured its either going to go really fast or pop, and thats when it finally blew up. rod bolt stretched and caused havoc.

Our current setup should do a 9 no problem although we were working on some drivetrain issues before the last race of the local season so we were not able to put down any better than  the 10.1 on a conservative 1st half setup we were working out some experimental drivetrain changes lol so we were very gentle on boost through the first 2 gears which is where the car does best usually. still on the 60-1 and stock sleeves and stock drivetrain, just a bit modified. We are taking it to Texas for an import face off next month to see how we do against some out of state high dollar setups again. The car is not as light as you might think. we have actually added weight to the car for multiple reasons. the car weighs 2450-2420 depending on how much fuel we have in the car. the car could weigh under 2000 lbs but some classes we race in require us to be over 2400lbs and we honestly want the weight in the car as long as we are able to put it where we want it.

just thought id give some background on the car and video. let me know if you guys have any questions. Thanks for watching.

Yup, hey its old ass technology but it is still a great turbo. lb/min vs price is unbeatable really good bang for buck. eventually we will need more power but as of right now we still stand to make more on it and the range of usable power you get from it is underrated these days. people just want big power, but neglect to keep it usable. we dont even make that much power, especially compared to the people in our class usually.
