All These Opinions.... He Said this.... She said that.... If you like it you like it.... If you dont you dont.... If you are gonna buy one cool buy one. There is not going to be a right answer in this thread and no ones opinion is gonna persuade anyone to like it better or worse.

BTW - Car looks Good (in my opinion)

No need to honda bash cool guy just stating the track record of of these cars, but i would rather have an s2000 overall, looks arent everything in a car dude because when its the second most expensive thing that you buy in life i think i would check consumer reports the second year their out..then prove me wrong

Have you seen the latest article on car reliability from Consumer Reports?  Not a single Hyundai model made it on their list of most unreliable cars.  In fact, one of their cars (Azera) made it on their list of most reliable cars.  They may not be as reliable as Honda's or Toyota's yet but they're a lot better than what most people think.  They are on par w/ Nissan and Ford according to Consumer Reports.

At the rate s2slow-san bashes Hyundai you would think he owned an Excel when they first came out.  I highly doubt he's that old though.

Yeah I dont really recall "bashing Honda" in any of my previous post, I just stated my opinion. And as Allen just stated, seems to me that you are the one with the chip on your shoulder about Hyundai....In fact I am sure that you have done more bashing in this topic than anyone else. stickpoke

Oh, and BTW- I am a very "cool guy"   moon

My girlfriend owns a 2008 Hyundai Sonata she bought new over a year ago. I confess I tried to talk her out of getting it when she was in the market simply because it was a Hyundai. I have to admit I am very impressed with the comfort and craftsmanship of this car.  Hers is a mid level 4 cylinder model and the interior layout and materials is as nice or nicer than a comparable toyota (Camry), Honda (Accord), Nissan (Altima) and yes we looked at all those mentioned (4 cylinder models).  The Sonata had the best warranty, best fuel mileage (in the price range, don't mention the hybrids, they were out of her range), standard equiptment etc.  Oh yeah and was about 2 grand less than comparable models of the other cars, and ended up with more options than the others.  Honestly the Sonata even felt quicker than the pthers also.  Though I still have dubbed it the Slonata...

Regardless, Hyundai has really stepped their game up and with the Genesis sedan and coupe, they are chipping away at the jap big 3 more and more everyday

Toyota has even commented on Hyundai and said they would be keeping a close eye on them a year or two ago.  They are still a little behind Toyota and Honda in reliability IMO but they are still light years ahead of what they started out as and more than competitive w/ the other makes.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Hyundai today and will be keeping an eye on how the Genesis Coupe does w/ aftermarket support (which is looking pretty good so far).
